We have recently (August 2008) started replacing our Free screensavers with more updated versions for Mac OS 9.2, 10.3, 10.4, or 10.5 (recommended) . These screensavers have been tested with iMac OS9 and Mac Mini OSX Panther. (Note: The OS9 versions will work with OS8 however we have not tested it)


Slide Show Screensavers There is one download for these screensavers and will work with OS9 or OSX. It is best to have a minimum of 128MB Ram and 50MB Hard Drive Space. Tests with 64MB Ram iMac works but is limited in screensaver effects. No tests have been done with OS8 or prior. You will need an unstuffing program such as Stuffit Expander Apple Quictime is also required to view our these screensavers Click here to download it for FREE.

Removing Screensaver After Installation -
These screen savers contain an uninstall mechanism, that will remove the product. Go to your screen saver control panel, select the screen saver and click the uninstall function.


Free Mac Archives - We no longer support these downloads. These screensavers were created for OS9 and tested. It will work with OS8 systems though we did not test it with that system. We have two different version screen savers in this section and are slowly removing these and replacing them with more update versions (See above) These screensavers are not designed for OSX. Flash Screensavers Note: Due to changes in Mac OS systems and Adobe Flash, some of our animated flash screensavers which once worked fine, no longer work and are are no longer supported.

Where there are two separate downloads for our new Flash animated screensavers as indicated with Download OS 9 Version Now or Download OS X Version Now. Please select your version and download. Tony Beaudion We have done our best to stay updated with the newest screensavers that will be compatible with most Macintosh Operating Systems. Constant changes in the operating systems and the software that supports this has makes it extremely difficult to maintain. Personally we have not seen another Free Macintosh Screensaver site that offers the large variety we do. Cost prohibits us from purchasing new computers and related software to create Free Macintosh screensavers that will work with all operating systems, as this is an advertising supported site, free of charge to our users.

To add wallpapers to your desktop in Macintosh
- OSX:
Drag the image onto your desktop.
- Go to System Preferences & open the Desktop icon.
- Then drag the image into the well.

- OS9: Drag the image onto your desktop.
- Go to your Control Panel & select Appearance.
- Click 'set desktop' & choose your new desktop.
